How CFO.com.my develops educational financial content

Our public guides are intended to help Malaysian business owners understand financial-management questions, not to substitute for advice based on company records.

Who is responsible for publication?

CFO.com.my is the publication brand responsible for presenting and maintaining these pages. Individual advisers or professional reviewers will only be named after their roles, qualifications and approval have been verified. Until then we do not imply that a particular licensed individual reviewed every article.

How is a guide prepared?

Each guide is organised around a real business question, separates accounting obligations from management advice, explains assumptions, and links to related sources or tools where useful. Content should be reviewed for accuracy before publication and revisited when regulations or business practices change.

Examples, figures and client stories

Illustrative figures are labelled as examples, not actual customer results. We do not publish client names, case studies, performance claims or professional credentials without verification and any necessary consent.

Accuracy, limitations and corrections

Calculators and readiness scores are educational tools. They do not establish credit eligibility, company valuation, professional certification or guaranteed outcomes. Corrections can be requested at hi@cfo.com.my. Publication dates should reflect actual publishing or substantive review, not automatic changes.

Professional services and referrals

Accounting, company-secretarial, tax, audit, investment and legal matters may require appropriately qualified or authorised professionals. Engagement terms should identify the responsible provider, scope and limitations.
